Okay. If you're not super familiar with this, you're probably wondering...

What the heck is ShiftyLook, and why make a shrine for it?

ShiftyLook was a website that focused on reviving Bandai Namco's more obscure titles with official webcomics, mobile apps, and web animated series during the early 2010s. If you know me well, you'd know that I love looking into niche things. I actually loved visiting this site when it was up and active!

While the Bravoman (the first half, anyways...), Wonder Momo (up to strip 104), and Katamari comics got physical copies, its comics and animations were archived by fans! Most projects associated with ShiftyLook, sans Klonoa: Dream Traveler of Noctis Sol (which had sadly ended on a cliffhanger), were fully completed before the site shut down on September 30th, 2014.

ShiftyLook was everything to me during my high school days. I vividly remember being so excited to come home and check for updates on the comics every day after that final bell of the day rang (shortly changed to checking during second period after realizing what time updates rolled out). Sure, it may be an odd, niche piece of Bandai Namco's history, but it's something that's been fascinating to me ever since I first found out about it. It also brings me back to some simpler times, before a lot had happened.

Here's the first panel that I ever saw on the website, if you're curious.

This shrine will cover ShiftyLook media that I personally had experience with! If I ever end up reading other comics that I didn't look at as much during high school, I'll be sure to update with my thoughts on them. No, I will not be talking about Namco High here. While I have played the game for myself, I really do not want to talk about my least favorite depiction of my favorite Namco character of all time. My memory of the Bravoman mobile game is also fuzzy at best since to my recollection, it was only up for a couple of months. I also haven't played the Wonder Momo mobile game either.

Should also quickly stress that this shrine isn't affiliated with Bandai Namco by any means. This is literally me just rambling on about a very niche special interest of mine.
